Botanical name: Calea Zacatechichi
Also known as: Dreamherb, Aztec Dreamgrass, tzicinil, Thle-pela-kano (Leaf of God)
Family name: Compositae
Natural habitat: Central Mexico

The leaves of this herb are used by the Chontal Indians of Oaxaca to obtain divinatory messages during dreaming. A cup of tea is made from crushed leaves and drunk just before they go to sleep.
