Palo Santo is also called ‘Holy Wood’. The fragrant wood of this tree is used for hundreds, maybe thousands of years by the indigenous people of the Amazon as a natural wood aromatic incense. Palo Santo has a very pleasant strong and sweet smell when burned. It is known to soothe and calm the spirit and clear the room of negative energy. It is often used in Ayahuasca ceremonies.
